March 2007 - n° 3
A Word from the President

In only three weeks the 2nd International Congress of Biological Psychiatry will be officially opened on April 17th, 2007 in Santiago de Chile. We are putting the last touches on this exciting event. The Local Organizing Committee is doing all to its efforts to make your congress attendance pleasant and comfortable. The Chilean Society of Biological Psychiatry is kindly providing simultaneous translation into Spanish for selection sessions.

The International Scientific Program Committee has compiled a well-balanced program that reflects the recent developments, and state of the art in psychiatry and biological psychiatry by inviting international leading experts to present their latest findings and achievements.
The full Scientific Program is available online at www.wfsbp2007.org.

The social highlight of the Congress is the Congress Party on Friday, April 20th. Make sure to find time for this special occasion where you will meet colleagues in a relaxing atmosphere.

This Congress will be the ideal platform to discuss newest innovations in our field and exchange ideas with decision makers from all around the globe, and I look very much forward to meeting you soon personally in Santiago de Chile.

Sincerely yours,

Siegfried Kasper, MD
WFSBP President
