November 2006 - n° 6
A Word from the President

With over 40 top quality symposia, 4 plenary lectures, 3 debates and 5 workshops the 2nd International Congress of Biological Psychiatry in Santiago de Chile 2007 is coming along very positively. The aim of this major event in the field of psychiatry in the year 2007 is to bring together world-renowned experts and scientists from Latin America. The congress combines lectures by international highly respected experts, educational workshops, topics of local interest, and research reports from different countries outside Latin America. We encourage you to attend this congress and benefit from its special composition and truly international blend.

Thus we would like to give you the opportunity to participate actively in this congress and to present your work as Poster or Free Communication. Therefore we have prolonged the abstract submission deadline to December 15.

I am looking forward to meeting you at the 2nd International Congress of Psychiatry in Santiago de Chile and share with you a remarkable meeting!

Sincerely yours,

Siegfried Kasper, MD
WFSBP President
